Koralias wont do that. Have you ever used one/seen one in action? They are very different from conventional powerheads that create a direct stream of current. These create a very very wide flow pattern. I had 2x of the 400gph Koralia poweheads in a 55g tank heavily planted with fragile plants, and the flow seemed just about right. It didn't bother my plants or my little fish.Trust me, look into the Koralias. Those powerheads you have now won't do much
