Praying mantis story w/ pics

yea man there real easy to keep and very cool. i had one about a year ago, made a big custom cage and everything, he ate everything from, small frogs to lizards to spiders, anything u could imagine, be on the look out though, i noticed mines stomach getting big, i thought he had just ate a bunch, well i awoke the next morning to millions of little praying mantisis covering the inside of the cage and the wallas were they got through the cage, it was a nightmare, and thats when i had to release her lol, greats pets in my opinion though
 
I think its lucky if you get one that breeds, as long as you have a good lid on the cage!! I read that they only live maybe 1 year or so, I am waiting to find one when I am not busy, they always appear at times it would be odd to stop and say "hang on a second everyone I need to catch this bug ! "

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought most mantis layed eggs, not live births...
