No, you add 1 teaspoon per 20 gallons of water around the edges of the tank and leave it for 5-7 days. Then do a large water change. Shouldn't need a 2nd dose

Yeah, you gotta be careful with it. I accidently poured some and it got on a silver dollar. It got a good burn from it.
