praziproing my ray help.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lupin method is the way to go if you are treating your w/c flower. Post up some pics so we can see the fella.

Was this ray put in a 30 gallon to start or did you just put it in there? If it was in there for it's acclimation it is too small for the ray. Flowers are hard to acclimate to start and will take alot longer to start eating. If it was eating the blackworms then keep it up.
IF this ray was put in with tankmates then it will have more of a problem and the tankmates need to be moved.
Make sure your flower is eating well before the meds.

Not 100% accurate on instructions.
Just in the instructions alone it is proven that you can use more than the days told on back of the bottle.

Instructions:
Shake vigorously before use.
Measure at the rate of 1 tsp per 20 gallons. One ounce per 120 gallons. This produces a concentration of 2.5 mg/L.
Distribute the proper amount around the edge of the aquarium or directly into the filter box to achieve the best overall distribution.
A single treatment lasting 5-7 days is normally sufficient. Repeat as necessary, but no more than once every 3-5 days.
May be used as a preventative at the standard dosage, when disease is likely.
Do not use any other drugs or disease treatment.
May cause noticable temporary foaming.

he ignors everything i throw in. even with live blackworms he is not too thrilled about. Ive had other rays and they would take nightcrawlers like if it were crack. This is my first flower and ive heard they are tough to get eating so hopefully i just have a stubborn guy. I will prazi him though reguardless.

after talking to a few peeps, it seems like prozipro is the way to go when acclimating. i will prolly take this route everytime with a ray.

never had to do thiis much acclimating with any other fish..lol
