Ok, I called around and cheapest glass I could find was 221.00. Way better then 460.00. So I finished cutting my access holes on top, and now that I know for sure how lrge my glass will be, I can go ahead and cut the front viewing hole. It's been along time since I've used a router, I'd forgotten how long it takes to cut out holes. Compared to alot of other systems that I see @ MFK, my aquarium is nothing special, but I'll post updates of my progress for anyone interested

I haven't cut out my viewing panel yet, I was actually concerned about something I hope someone could help me with. Initially I was going to cut out viewing panel 88x22 inches. My glass is going to be 90x24 inches. When I seat the glass, it'll have an 1 inch overhang on the plywood at all four sides. Is this enough?

Ok, so tonight I was cutting 2x4 to build my aquarium stand, and when I tried to put it together, I realized that I had cut the the boards for my aquarium depth the wrong size . I'm such a dumb ***. Oh we'll, I guess I can use. those pieces for my other stand for my 55 gal. I'll have to pickup six more eight foot boards to make the rest of the pieces that I need.
