Its scramble time now fellas. Whats every one planning on getting?

Keep politics out, I just want to know what people are getting.

I'm broke as a joke, aint got a nickel for a coke, but I think I might sell my boat to get something. Either purchase a few AR lowers or a couple AK kits and receivers and build up the AKs on my own time. Maybe even go all out and buy a Saiga-12.

Lets hear it....

I'd like to pick up another AKM parts kits, maybe a Browning 1919A4 as well. I definitely need to pick up a few 75 round drums for my Ak. More high capacity mags in general. Oh and ammo, gotta keep buying more ammo. Another AR lower would be sweet too.

I want to get a shotgun for home defense when I move out, but do not know what to get.

I like the tactical pistol grip shotty's. However, I am just going off of look. I have never used one. Obviously, after I get it, I will practice, practice, practice.

Any suggestions?

I need a shotgun and I was looking into maybe a Springfield (thanks Jcardona), do you think we really need to hurry?

If you're just buying those, there's no hurry really. It's imported things like parts kits, ammo, high capacity mags that will be harder and harder to get get.

I sold my 2 Glocks when bills got real tough so it looks like it's time for another handgun.. Thinking of a Kimber 1911..:headbang2

I agree.

Again with out getting into politics, the things that should be bought now are "scary" guns. ARs, AKs, hi-cap magazines, and hi-cap handguns. As well as any de-milled imported parts kits.

Hell even if you arent into guns its possible to buy these kinds of things as an investment. Before the last AWB many guns suchs as AKs were jsut a few hundred dollars, after the ban prices shot up to around $1,000! Hi-capacity magazines such as betta mags for ARs and drums for AKs as well as hi-cap mags for hand guns can also become a hot commodity with a stroke of the pen.

If your strapped on cash like me, buy parts. For example one can buy a stripped lower for an AR for around $100. This is what the .gov considers a "gun" so as long as you have that now, it doesnt matter what happens in the future, its yours and you can build it up when you are ready or have more money. Same thing with AK receivers.

A little OT but wth its my thread, are there any AK builders in here in the mid west? We should have a build party and build up a couple of dozen AKMs! There is no better feeling then taking an AK parts kits and building the weapon yourself. If you use receiver flats and make your own receiver the gun legally doesnt have to be registered and you can put what ever markings you want on it as it doesnt have to have a serial number. How does an MFK-47 sound?!

You ain't kidding on the price jump after the ban, shoot my Hi-Caps for my Glocks went from $20 bucks to almost a hundred at the gun shows..:irked: I loaded up after the ban lifted though..:D
