the closes pet co or petsmart is about 45mins away from me. i have a local petstore, that has good healthy fish ( expsnive food and filters ) the petco and pet smart has alot of dead fish, usally hac ich ( but food and filters are good priced )



so i assume you kno where i go for what

I've got petsmart and petco local, plus a few other random lfs. I guess I'm lucky again. Too bad I have to drive to MD for piranhas and stuff which is like a 2-hour drive.

my lights are usually on most of the time.

last night he was about an inch below the surface of the water, staring at the light....why, I have no idea.

We have no petsmart or petco local, the closest one is an hour away.

I leave my lights on at night. Mine won't get the food from top if both my lights are on, but they will if just the dimmer one is...

I only have one light on Whiplash's tank, and he won't eat if the lights are off!!

I just make sure he's got somewhere to hide from the light if it gets to be too much, and he uses the cave to nap. He's coming into more areas of his tank now, instead of just the bottom by the cave.

I also leave my light on at night, that way I can watch him while I'm trying to fall asleep.

all night thats alot of hours. .. . . . . . . i'd get a auto timmer form home depo. like $4.97

its not really a long time if you think about it cause most ppl only sleep for 7-9 hours

All night is a lot of hours, but they're used to the lights now. They don't really bother them now...

( hey i am not "normal?" i go to bed like 1 - 2 am wake up like 12 - 1 pm ) so thats like almost 12 hrs
