ok so i am currently cycling a 20 galon tank...not sure what i want to put in it yet....any sugguestions? The other day i was at my lfs and i saw this really cool looking cichlid, it was about 170 bucks, only about five inchs....apparently the males max at 6 inchs and the females max at 3 inchs. They are found in deep deep waters and have a very strange body shape....oval body, very slender with four sharp fangs. Any idea what these are? All different types of fish are welcome with pictures provided please.:thumbsup:
 
the type of fish i was telling you guys about is called a Altolamprologus calvus, they have the white and black ones at my lfs

You talking about a single predator up to 8-9" long for the 20g?
There is always the Nandus nandus.

guppy what info you have on the nandus nandus...whats good about them? what do they eat...feel free to elaborate.
 
ery ery , snakeheads... nadus nadus is great too , do provide calm set-up , driftwood and lottas plants, well i just cant get them off live food.
 
I have nandus nandus they are beautiful fish, very very cool. They are also known as asian leaf fish but more commonly as the nandus nandus. Eat small fish don't move around much but love a fairly heavily planted tank. They can change the colour or atleast the intensity of the stripping pending on how hungery or if they are hunting. I love mine.
