Predator 75 Gallon

Not many 'predators' will fit into a 75G. But by predator what do you mean, like an Archer fish for example that eats insects? Or Pikes, Big cichlids, catfish and polypterus? That actually eat smaller fish.

I guess a tank with birchirs, leaf fish, AKF, and other compatible fish. I just do not know which ones are compatible. I could just go with a Jaguar Cichlid or something but I do not think that would be as good of a tank.

jaguar would be the only thing in the tank....

I mean I am looking for a African biotope tank. Any suggestions at all? A few that I am thinking of would be AKF, Sengal Birchir, and need other suggestions?

Look at my post above... African butterflies, other bichirs (upper jaw species), and other Ctenopmas are your best bets. Some cichlids may be ok, as will some Synodontis. Beblondie has primer in the bichir section that also lists compatible fish.

preditory fish means that it will eat smaller fish
go with
bichir , african brown knife , leapard bush fish , mabye a buterfly fish and a catfish
south american leaf fish stay small so avoid those so do the butterfly fish they might get eaten depends on the bichir and catfish if you get one but a leapard bush fish or ctentopoma ? or how ever you spell it forgot last part to but its a ctentopoma species they get around 6'' and are cool , tuff and preditory

shovel nose get way to big unless its a lima shovelnose but that to might out grow your tank or atleast eat your other fish

salvini cichlids are proubly way to aggressive so are most cichlids that are preditory but if you wan't a sa/ca cichlid then go with an acara species

I am going to pick up a brown knifefish, and a birchir today. I do not think that have leopard bush fish or butterfly fish. I will ask though. I have a syn. species of cat already in there and also a spotted raphael that I never see.
