1-I considered exodons(buck tooth tetra), but they're canabalistic unless kept in a spacious system(65 g+), which I have like a 3rd of.
2-puffers are sort of hard, I know there are more than just the giant hard ones(fahaka puffers) but the ones like figure 8 are brackish which would kill my plants...

You could put one of these in there, they are tough to see sometimes though because they go invisible

i would go with a few exodon but i have no clue they were cannibalistic i wonder why they dont eat eachother at the fist stores there only in like a 10 gallon tank anyways good luck i would still go with a shoal of exodon

Thats why i said dwarf puffers aka pea puffers... You can keep 1.3 in a 10G with plants... They are a freshwater species and don't eat plants...
