1 Butis Butis (Crazy Fish) and 1 Knight Goby

or 1 Ctenopoma (Spotted Climbing Perch)

The Butis Butis only gets 6", the Ctenopoma gets 8" (depending on species).. The knight goby would be a nice bottom dweller, and they will also eat live prey. With the Butis/Goby combo, you would have to do a light brackish tank. That will be easy to maintain at 12g..

Good luck finding those fish ;)

Just a reminder, snakeheads are federally banned thoughout the US of A. All because of the northern snakehead which can breed in very cold waters. hence the ban on all snakehead species because according to the biologist at Fish and Wildlife, they don't have the resources to train their personnel to tell the difference between any snakeheads, ergo ban all of them...You do the math.

Actually.....snakeheads (Channa and Parachanna) are NOT federally banned in the United States. It is the importation of these fish from out of the country and the interstate transport of living snakeheads and their eggs that are prohibited. However, numerous state laws do prohibit the possession of snakeheads and more states are joining that group all the time.
