ohh didn't see where you where from you could try snakeheads just the smaller ones but they are still nice fish rainbows or dwarfs could work rainbows would be fine with other fish dwarfs are a mabye but they both aen't very aggressive compared to there larger relatives with dwarfs tankmates are a mabye with rainbows its usually what ever can't fit in there mouths is okay

you could keep an ery ery in a 50 for sure to they only get around 8'' not much bigger so they would do fine not with many tankmates however its much more possible then with comman wolf fish but still can be hard

ctenopoma are eazy to keep and aren't aggressive they eat alot of everything to so there a good fish for a less aggressive planted tank you could try them with rainbow snakeheads and polys i think that would be a good mix mabye 3 or one snakheads (avoid 2 unless there breeding ) a poly or two and a ctenopoma or just one poly and a few ctenopomas what ever you like

Thanks for all the help guys

i am aware that silver dollars arent preditory but would they act as dither fish to encourage more shy fish to come out?

How about a rainbow snakehead, a poly and a pike cichlid?

Thanks
Matt
