This is just for appearance and not temperament characteristics, so considering the Gold Saum, White Saum, or True Green Terror, which one does everyone think is the most beautiful or "cool" looking? I am just curious because both are beautiful in their own way, and I have difficulty choosing a preference. (Blah, blah, blah, spare me and everyone the True Green Terror, False Green Terror war)

I'm quite partial to the gold saum but I haven't seen many white saums near me. There is a LFS that I like to visit that has a giant display that would easily be 8 x 3 x 4, and the full size gold saums are very impressive in such a large tank. I've never seen a true GT in real life so can't comment

Do the gold, they are breath taking fish! The true gt is A. Rivulatus, some may mistake pulcher for a gt at small sizes so you'll have "a true gt" with the gold or the white if you can find the whites lol, def wish I could!

I've had a 8-9" gold saum and a 10" silver saum in the past. Personally I really liked the silver saum, but they are both stunning fish. I believe it really comes down to personal preference.

What happens IMO is a newer or harder to find fish shows up and people want to be the first kid on the block to have one or get somthing different because it's different. All things being equal and supposing I had no prior knowledge of any of them, side by side based on looks alone I'd pick the Gold saum every time.

+1. If gold saums were a new discovery or were rare and difficult to find they'd absolutely be a highly coveted fish, command big money, and people would be jealous of anyone fortunate enough to have them.

Gold for sure and I kept a silver for about 2 years.

I always wished I had a gold and am still considering trying to find one.
