The Gulper is still eating fine, but no improvement as far as the eye issue or the sting-like growths.

Strings are back, huh... I'm surprised you are not hearing much from the many gulper keepers here. I wonder if this means your problems are very rarely encountered.

Yeah and the weird part is the top tell signs your fish is not doing well either not eating or acting erratic are just not happening. Which I'm happy about but these mystery strings are not fun

As we touched upon, it seems the fish may be in that grey area, not unhappy but not happy either. It certainly occurs.
