Pregnant hystrix

I know she is probably pouncing on food but dang she looks big. How big is she

She is just over 12" diameter and probably 5" thick, if not more.

I got a rough estimate last night with a ruler. She is just over 4" thick, depending on where the pups are positioned and how much she has eaten.

Thanks Don. I think they mated somewhere around May 10th. I seem to remember seeing the remnants of a sperm plug around that date. Yes, she always carries for long times.

WOW!!!! That long i to have a prego Hystix as well . Saw remnants around july i was thinking end of Dec. to the start of January would be it ,but now who knows how long lol .

Yes this is . But not quite sure if it's going to be a true hystrix litter or hybrid by marble motor but finger are crossed for true hystrix either way I am exited to see whatever the outcome.
