Who owns one and what do you think? There is a breeder locally with 3 pairs of these, I might want to get a baby from them. They seem to be fairly rare in the hobby.

Here is a pic of what they look like

I plan on having a pair at some point, but that will be years and years down the road. These are definitely one of the coolest lizards out there

You should jump at this ! or give me there email or phone # that would be sweet . There hard to find endangered no longer imported but please don't get just one an animal in it's current state most be breed not used as a pet they make nice pets don't get me wrong but they need a great increase in captive #'s to make it through the what we call the modern era thats my 2 cents anyway but I think its a crime for any zoo to hold a single threatened or endangered species it's there or our responsibility to replace what we've destroyed

:iagree:
These are awesome creatures!
If you get some, BREED Them!!!
Get them from different lines, and get lots of info on them!
They need tall vertical enclosures.
If I was ever to get another herp, these would be the ones! :headbang2

Even if they weren't endangered, their breeding and young-rearing habits are too unique and interesting to pass up. The female gives birth (live birth) to a single offspring which she carries on her back-not a common thing among lizards.

You can find them all day long, on kingsnake.com.

Always thought they were cool, but I'm kinda biased to large Pythons, rare Pythons and now, no matter how much I try to shy away...Monitors. lol

I wish I could go back in time as there was one in the local craiglist for 300 with his cage and stuff, but the worst part was the fact his cage was a large bird cage and the ad said that you feed them iceburg lettuce :(

so if anyone builds a time machine, call me
