well if you do get invenomated, what are the effects? neurotoxic or cytotoxic?

Snakeheads must be part of the prehistoric leagues. Does anyone knowanything about these eat-everything-and-anything monsters?

I have had several monster fish but I have never verified that these are in fact poisonous in fact I suspect this could be conjecture I had mine for two years untill a recent tragic accident wiped 80 fish out of existence in my living room plus 300 feeders. They will eat when ever the opurtunity presents itself i.e. a fish passes to close to there mouth if any one knows where to get some i am desperately looking for more and also true leaf fish I realy enjoyed them the monster fish eat in an explosive fashion. Mine were kept in a 55 gallon with a bottom covered in black sand about 2 inches deep. i would not keep them with aggressive predators or ones that will hog the live food because they will not go after the live food they wait for lunch to come to them. if some one could show me the articles on breeding I would love to read that i do not think there is a large amount of information realy on the species it seems to be largely over looked for some of the more flashy bell and whistle predators in the industry. Personaly I like the ninja stealth predators and I am actualy looking for more varietis of fish that are ambush predators

ITS NOT A FROG FISH. Its a stonefish. Stonefish are not frogfish. Stonefish are venomous (if consumed)

FROGFISH ON THE OTHER HAND are interchangable with ANGLER FISH and MONKFISH which are saltwater and aren't venomous and are edible.

Actually the freshwater stonefish does have a nickname of a toadfish. Not frongfish.
This particular fish does belong to the toadfish family. not sure if that can be used interjectionally with Scorpion fish because it would seem they share similar characteristics.
However the freshwater stone fish itself looks very little like this particular fish. So I think it may just be a commonality in terms that are used for these type fish.

oh yeah is this Eric?
