I think it is a beautiful shark, what a wonderful find- it looks like a very gentle creature. I hope this new discovery incourages people to do more about conserving marine life, which tends to be neglected when everyone's fussing over cuddly panda's and hippo's and other land mammels.

There's nothing wrong with trying to protect land mammals. But more should be done for marine life, with special attention to whales IMHO. Some whales can live hundreds of years and are far too intelligent to be barbaricly hunted down and killed.

As far as that thing looking like a gentle creature, would you wiggle your fingers in front of his face? hahahaha I wouldn't even if it doesn't have sharp teeth.

it doesnt even look like a shark. it looks more like a dinosaur. freaky....i remembered seeing it wen it first came out on the newspapers. u never truly know wat lurks beneath the deepest parts of the ocean. especially places like the marina trench. i wouldnt be surprised of there were still megadalon or dinosaurs lurking down there. anyone care to explore??? :s
