Why not use the hikari sticks?
It doesn't cloud the tank as much and less smell. From my experience they give my peacock bass the best of coloration.

You could also try sinking carnivore, they are much smaller pellets compared to massivore.

Yeah I need sinking cause I have some tetra carni sticks or whatever and they will not eat from the top they don't even like freez dried krill they love this stuff so I mean a few hours a week of chopping up massivore works lol as long as I got headphones and beer

x2 I prefer the sticks too because they don't have that strong odor.
