one of those filters are brand new....
im gonna rinse that one again see what happens

just keep up with your water changes, and find out what your water parameter's are from tap....and adjust as will.

Prime de-chlorinates instantly.. No need to leave it to sit. I just use a hose pipe directly into the tank and add prime to the tank as it fills. Maybe my water's not too bad to begin with but I've never had problems with this technique.

Rinse with old tank water or declorinated water? Or are you rinsing with just plain water from tap? There is a big difference.

so my gf was the one that rinsed the 2nd bg of gravel
i guess shes never doing that again. lol
i took out all the gravel. put it in 3 buckets
and hit em with the pressure hose out side
till each bucket gave me nothin but crystal.
put the gravel back in. did a water change.
3 days later its more clear than any of my other tanks
