Hahaha my old collection never came close to Frank's insanity.

Not wanting to circle jerk here so I'll just say that it's been like this for years. The OGs have crazy collections from having a passion for the hobby and like to see other collections as much as they like sharing theirs, and that inspires the next genration to get really into this hobby and kick it up to the next level when they can.

Keep the pictures coming! Label the species if you don't mind, for those who aren't bichir experts:)

This thread got derailed lol my bad ... Um if u want (pretty) I say teugelsi is #1 ... Ornates, buetikoferi, palmas polli, delhezis

Well I have an Ornate already and I quite like him (he is my only bichir, unless you count my ropes - but so far he is much more outgoing than the ropes). I like your list! Only I think I like palmas palmas better than palmas polli - anyone have pictures?? I think I may get two more bichirs- either teugelsi, palmas palmas, or delhezi.

Those three are my top so far. All those get a fair bit over 12inches right? They would be destined for my 700g with some big cichlids, catfish, pbass, etc.

I think some catfish would see polys as noodles lol.

Well they aren't very predatory or super giant catfish like redtails - just a Giraffe cat, hopefully a Marble Sailfin (when I find one), and possibly a Lima Shovelnose. Anything a bit over 12 inches should be ok. Even my Peacock bass are Kelberi, so they won't get big by pbass standards.

There's some nice looking laps and tuegs once they get a little older showing some reds, I'll enjoy any poly I get now that I got some ljs

They will be fine then. I thought you were talking redtail or tsn
