I think I'm gonna buy a bunch of snails and ghost shrimp and krill as I want Thoes nice wild colors to come in idk about feeders or sword tails if anything I'll use rosies or sword tails if I have to also I'm gonna let alot of them reproduce in my 20 thanks everyone any ideas on worms tho

I have not heard that live food causes better colors. Sure it can get different coloring if it sees prey but tht effect will be only temporary.
Feeding high quality live food will be quite costly. And it probably won't be as good in the nutrition department as a quality pellet.
Maybe freeze dried food and pellets, with live food every 2 weeks or so ?

You want to bring out the best potential color in a RD/Midas/Fader you put them over black gravel and background. But like was previously stated, it all comes down to genetics. If you are trying to create a Lake Nicaragua biotope then thats cool and all but feeding them those foods will not bring out better color if thats your goal.
