Price for zebra plecos

O_O and thats too costy? DAM Id be jumping on them !! lol. sigh we have the worst fish market in the world. crap quality fish most the time and the highest price.

For a 13 year old it's pretty pricey

I've spent some good coin on plecos in the last 3 years or so only to find that I never see the damn things. But one I had awhile back was two queen arabesque and they were awesome looking and stay quite small. Got them for 30 a piece from aquascapeonline and wanted to get some recently and they were 140 a piece! No thank you. Nowhere near the quality of the two I had before. That being said I'm on my way to the fish store right now and probably gonna get a gold nugget they had last time I was there. Don't judge me lol.

Sad that ppl would let them getaway with charging stacks of money for a 1" fish by buying from them and increasing their reassurance that it is ok to sell a fish for that much. People are insane spending that for a pleco when you could buy like 5 cichlids for that.

That just how it is if people didn't want them and they were east to get they wouldnt be expensive but they fetch a high price tag cause people are willing to pay and pay..they could become cheaper but if sellers can still get high prices then they have no reason to lower the price tag cause they know people will pay on the the other hand look at the albino pacu they were almost 100 bucks a pop and for a little bit people payed it because they wanted to be on of the first to have an albino pacu or they thought they were cool looking or what have you now the price is already drastically down because its as simple as this when it comes right down to it they are still a PACU I see them for 30 dollars now and barely selling if they even are......
Prices will never go down on something that people are willing to pay good money for if they can sell them at the prices they ask for and people keep coming back for more price will never drop as long as there is a steady market for them
