Yeah same in Adelaide =( 1.5inch clowns go for $12.99-$26 here..

I literally busted out laughing when you said "Oh, no reports at all?" when you had posted it was a proven breeding pair. Usually, if you were confident that it indeed was a "Proven Breeding Pair" you would have argued it. If he is telling you its a proven breeding pair, then he isn't a very good friend. The only thing I have ever seen document that they successfully bred them was on some website, but they were like 12+yrs old. 4-5inches isn't their sexual maturity age, at least not from what I read.

God D*** that much for a 4-5inch CL??
Over here there around 15-20 bucks.

Smaller sized ones about 1-3" run about $3.50 a piece.

I've never heard of clowns breeding in captivity, and especially only 4"-5", they get 4 or 5 times that size in the wild.
