if it's in really good shape with no dings or anything and the crossbars are fine anything between .75-$1 per gallon is acceptable IMO

They say it holds water just some minor scratches. I really like the dimensions. It's 48L*24W*20H

Yes that's what I would do. Store it in my storage cuz I shouldn't add another tank to my 950 sq ft apt. But the tank is perfect for bottom fish cuz of the area and 20 high is great for plants.
the dollar per gallon deal is probably only good for under 125 and that's mostly because of the inflation caused by petsmart and petco doing dollar per gallon sales in 55 gallons and under
If you add in other things, like a stand, light, lids, filter, heater, rocks, decorations, the 1 dollar per gallon does not apply in my opinion. If someone did sell it at that price with a lot of other things, it would sell pretty quick.
For example a good condition 90 gallon tank with stand, heater, filter, lights/lids, decorations would sell fast for only 90 dollars and would be a steal.
