I would say a 13" Frt is "WORTH" $1500-$2000... it takes a real long time for them to reach that size! They are such an awesome species with character!

YEA IT DOES TAKE EM A LONG TIME TO GROW......AROUND 7 YRS TOTAL TO GET TO SHELL LENGTH 13IN...

You can't sell them, since they're on CITES. However, you can have them, since they're on CITES recently, so there's a chance people has been keeping them long before they're on CITES

Oh i see... Thanks jlnguyen74! And how recent have they been on CITES now? Ok... just wondering, this might be a stupid question but here goes... so you can't "sell" them, but are they allowed to be traded for other goods besides cash? Or is that the same sh*t??
