So true. If you go to the pet stores that sell turtles you will see something like $20.00 to $25.00 for a red-ear slider at 2" diameter shell, where as a full grown one will be $5.00 to $9.00.
Fact is most people just have a 10 or 20 gallon tank, we are the oddballs here at this forum because we have something large enought to house a fish that big. And there are the rare few that hate the idea of a basement so much it became a underground aquarium, lucky $@$&@%&$.
