The smaller bottles explain how much to use. I believe it's 2 drops per gallon. Heh bought a small bottle for my 10g.

Drs. Foster/Smith website has pipettes (small size (1 mL) and large size (3 mL). They come in disposable 10 packs I think...I got the small size and a bottle of prime (my first) in my recent order. I've been adding 1 mL per 5g bucket during water changes (I don't add the water directly from tap to tank), even though 1 mL is rated for 10g.
But the pipettes do have markings at .5 mL and the 1 mL mark. So, just use .5 mL (or you could even eyeball half of that for .25 mL if you really want to conserve Prime).
