That's a good bonus of using a preventative 1/2 dose of Melafix every WC, doesn't make the tank smell like sulfur quite so much, just that piney melafix smell

Thanks. I have been using prime the last few months and didn't notice the smell until a few days ago. After I use prime I wash the cap in the tank. I thought maybe something got in my bottle. I don't know why I wash it in the tank, it's something I just do.
I do it too, but i do it because i know it smells. I dont want it on my hands or bottle lmao

My partner was looking for regular household bleach one day, stumbled upon my 2ltr bottle of Prime and took in a whiff. Her expression was priceless.
Does the smell get worse overtime? My first bottle didn't smell bad when it was first opened and overtime it got stronger. I just got a new bottle and it doesn't smell bad.
On a side note I have wasted so much money on water conditioner not buying prime. Never realized jow concentrated this stuff is. One of their tiny capfuls is for 50 gallons.

Yeah it's normal, you should give SAFE a sniff! When I first got it, it smelt so bad I could barely breathe, now it kinda smells like risottoYou get used to it.
I don't want to try your cooking if it smells like safe
