hi all,

just wanted to post a quick note that we are in the process of doing a major overhaul on the primitivefishes.com site. i launched the new version of the site just a little while ago, and invite you to check it out if you are interested.

i am still working out several bugs with the imaging, and rest assured plenty more images and information will be added in the near future. it was just time to change things up after nearly 7 years.

hopefully the new site is a bit cleaner and simpler than the old site, and i'll continuously update it as well. thanks for checking it out, and your suggestions and comments are welcome!--

Looking good buddy.

Steve

always a great place to visit!

Hmm IMO, black looks nicer

thanks for the comments guys, all appreciated :)

there are plans to add plenty more information about the species. we are starting with more natural history/ecological information first, and will add captive care info later. rest assured we will have all the species for the groups listed on the site.

will probably add a multimedia section like i have recently done with the Lepisosteidae.net site as well. i will eventually be posting for help from the MFK membership by way of submission of photos (particularly bichirs and lungfishes) to add diversity to what we already have on file.

thanks for checking out the site, and Happy New Year!--
