the lungfish is Protopterus aethiopicus congicus, about 4 years old and over 24" long (not sure exactly how much bigger, but may take a measurement in the near future).
mike and koen are correct, these are Cuban gars, Atractosteus tristoechus, and this bronze color is their natural pattern/coloration. these fish are about 4 years old as well--

Hey Sol...did you ever get those piebald gars? Or whatever they were? There was a huge hype about them almost a year ago, way to expensive...but maybe you found a way too get some?
thanks for the comments guys hopefully i'll get time to post more pics in the near future, but it's been tough the past several months!

they had some partial leucistic tropical gars coming in at the beginning of the summer, if that is what you were referring to...these were part of the t-gar order that we worked with mike to bring in. i didn't order any personally, but at least 2 were ordered and were around $5k each. definitely out of my price range!!! that being said, i've generally preferred natural coloration to the color morphs of any fishes...not to say the morphs aren't cool, NOR would i pass one up if it happened to fall into my possession!
