Prob a big NO but?

You can. Just keep an eye out for aggression from the JD/Salvini if the Oscar is the same size, but it will rapidly outgrow them.

Salvini are much nastier than people think... and capable of doing serious damage to even larger fish... mine took a chunk out of a severum that I couldn't believe was possible due to its size.
Ditto. I don't know much about salvini, but I will say that I have found that I had a male JD I had to rehome due to his increasing aggression towards my O... but the female JD is as mild tempered as the O is. Not sure if that would be the case in all situations, but it leads me to believe a female JD would be an easier tankmate, in the long run.

I would watch the JD and Salvini's for aggression toward the Oscar, The Oscar will grow bigger and they will feel he is a threat and probably try to kill him. JD's can be mean (some of them) but usually dont have the hardware to back it up. IMO JD wont kill the Oscar over night... you will see the signs of this and do what you must. The Salvini however will probably have a much higher aggression level than the others in the tank and unlike the JD does have the hardware to back it up. Oscars teeth dont get developed enough to ward off the others and the convict and salvini will have no probs out-maneuvering him and hitting him where it counts.

Ive heard of O's eating some pretty large fish. Ive even heard of a 11in livingstonii eating a 6" fish so I'm sure it wouldnt be to far fetched to think a 14" O could eat something less than half its size.

My old JD singled out my O and killed him as well. Maybe its a "thing". Like how Red Terrors and FH's hate each other, and so on and so on, there seems to be certain species that seem to take particular disliking to other species.

IME Oscar tend to get harassed and beat up by anything they don't eat even smaller inmates like cons and especially jack dempseys

should be fine like stated, and he shouldnt get picked on too bad by your JD unless you have a random psycho one, the salvini may be a problem for it when its young but once its large i doubt would do anything, overall just keep and eye out but should be fine, oh and lemon oscars are NOT dyed its just the albino version of the gold oscar, its a natural color mutation, now albino Os with blue/pink coloring are the dyed ones, usually sold with cutesy names like blueberry or strawberry Os

Female salvini vs JD twice her size:

Strange... my oscar will not just sit there and get attacked. if you push him, he pushes back. He is the biggest fish in the tank right now, too. That said, my JD does not bother him. Heck, I was concerned about my female freddie bothering him... but nope! She does not even try him... and she has teeth! LOL...

Damn is that a Female Salvini? I see the red belly.

I had a male salvini, but i removed him and sold him. He would have took my 90g to himself and killed everything. One day I need to get one again with tank mates bigger than him. My mistake was adding him with ca's his size. IMO from the ca's I've kept sal's could be the toughest ounce for ounce.
