Extremely slow Sir-I bought mine roughly at the 2.5 inch mark three years ago now-He is right at the 7 inch mark now...It will slow down even more in the bigger they get-It's greatly determined also on the diet one gives and the tank setup and params,Huge water changes helps a bit,Excellent filtration,etc,etc....

ive never had any piraya, but i had a wild caught red who had similar flame markings on him...but red.lol
