If you have trouble feed rosy red minnows (they are safer than goldfish) and that way you will get the little guy to eat a bit. These guys are hard to break and being so small id rather have them eating the minnows and trying again when they are a bit bigger

They type of goonch you have directly affects the answers. Not all goonch cats come from the same cold alpine streams as the famous giant ones, there actually are tropical species. Without helping us figure out what type you have, any answers you get are no better than guesses.

Please post a picture so we can identify your fish and give you relevant answers.

You have Bagarius rutilus. In the wild, these fish favor freshwater prawns and other invertebrates. Try offering it raw market shrimp chunks. These fish are also a tropical species that can handle warmer temps fine. It will still very much appreciate lots of current and oxygenation, however. It will also love you forever if you give it a bunch of big, round, smooth river rocks to lie on.

EDIT- these guys also have an absolutely tiny strike zone. The food has to practically hit them in the face in order to strike. I've found that they are also much more likely to feed once the main lights have been off for a while and the moon lights are on.

Here's what it will look like at 10-11"-
