problem with cabomba

hi
thx a lot
1) around 2wpg
2)4" depth substrate
3) right now i have only 6 barbs(all less than an inch)
4)i didn't fertilize the plants just yesterday only i added some fertlizer
5) yse i do have co2, electronic generated co2
6) yes its rotting not breaking off
7)for few stems i found roots and those are still in substrate, but few rotten and floating
what i feel is, the substrate is not dense enough, the substrate is very porous and very light in weight.(few grains are floating in the water)
yesterday i filled that place with hygro and water sprite.

can i plant java lace fern with its roots under substrate(including wooden pc also)
i would highly appreciate this group if u can suggest me some easy care, low light(mine is around 2wpg), fast growing plants ?

pls suggest.
regards
Madhav

Still need an answer to number 1. I don't care about wpg, it is a poor rule. What type of lighting do you have, not how many watts per gallon. Next, what type of ferts do you use, and when you say electronically generated co2... do you mean something like Carbo-plus??

Low light plants, and fast growing don't often go hand in hand. Again this will depend on the type of lighting you have. Java fern should not be planted in the substrate, and should have good access to water current.
