Problem with flowerhorn, need help

ok, i was considering bloat or parasite. The temp is around 80F. The one thing that gets me is the fact that this is the 3rd one to get this weird look like they are dazed and sick. There are two like this(one with the stomach and one without), THey really don't look around with their eyes (like they can't move their eyes and are blind) and they don't swim at all, like i caught one of them with just dipping the net in the tank and scooping it up.

I thought bloat was from eating a bunch? (never had it happen so don't know). The one with a big stomach doesn't eat, he hasn't eaton since i have got him. I throw pellets in the tank and sit far away and watch and he is not even interested. just sits there.

Don't know..I haven't had fish shipped to my house though. Maybe it has something to do with that.

i don't think it would be that. I have had a lot of fish shipped with out a problem (well besides problems with ups). Julie said two didn't make it when they went to her, i lost two from shipping and now another two look like they are about to kick the bucket. I will be so pissed, Shipping cost me like $80. Why did cam get banned now, i don't know if i want to deliver these to him, because i would hate for something to be wrong with them and cause problems to his fish.

if you are sure its bloat try treating with metro in a hospital tank

bloat is a parasite here this may help
Most researchers support the view that this protozoan resides in the intestines of healthy fishes, but can proliferate to harmful numbers under stressful conditions. In larger numbers, this parasite will cause blockage of the intestinal tract. This is probably responsible for the fish's lack of appetite. As the parasite grows in numbers, it becomes invasive, moving beyond the intestine by punching holes in its walls - causing the fish to bloat. Note, fish die from Bloat not because they starve to death, but because of the damage inflicted upon their organs as noted above.
stress on you fish due to shipping could have contributed to the bloat hope this helps

yes it has been known to take down whole colonies

i would take out the sick ones and treat asap you only have a short window of opportunity to save them if it is bloat keep your eye on the rest of the fish they have been in the tank with, gl with this hope all goes well keep us updated
