problem? with silver

hi there i noticed a [pin] hole in my silvers anal fin it has been there 6-7 weeks it is not getting bigger or smaller does not look infected it just is does this look like a disease or injury or what concerned i cant find USB will post pic tomorrow has this happend to anyone else

It just happens sometimes, brushes up against something sharp, nipped by another fish... ect.

Depending on its size, I guess its small cause you sound like an amateur, you can take it out lay it on a towel and split the hole down to the outside of the fin..

In a few weeks the fin will have healed up good as new.

I wouldn't bother though, just chill and let it heal itself eventually.

Yes...Pinky has two of them and as long as they are close to the base of the fin ray they heal VERY slowly. It's no big thing. They will eventually close up.
