problem

i have a breeding pair, FH and red tiger, ya i no weird huh, but im not very good at raising the fry, if i leave them in the main tank they get sucked up the ac110 even if its on the flow is on its lowest, so i have to remove them, her is my problem, one fry will grow bigger than all the rest of the gang and eventually kill all of the others leaving me with one big baby, but i want to grow out the majority of the fry. what might i be doing wrong in raising the fry. Once i remove the fry i put them in a 5 gallon tank, then 10 as they grow, and eventually a 20 but by then im left with one big guy left. input welcome

you need much bigger tank to grow out a good number of fry bro 20 gal does not cut it. You need to start with a 50-60 gal first and than transition to something 100 gal or bigger if you wish to grow them out to a couple inches good luck they sound cool

put a sponge prefilter on your filter in teh main tank and fry won't get sucked up.
