Problem!!

My arowana has cloudy eyes! Idk what this is caused by or how seroius it is! How to cure this? Can you guys plz help! Thanks

Check your water params. Do a large water change. Add salt 1 tablespoon / 5 gallons. Turn up to heat to around 84-86F.

If that doesn't help get some medication.

use mealfix for a few days and u should be fine b4 a week has passed

this is caused by bad bacteria in the water...

if this isnt cured soon they will remain with extra skin in the center of the eye that u cant remove even with more mealfix down the line

i had 3 arows with cloudy eye and all all fine now

If i transferd him to a different tank would his eyes get better on its own? or I would still need to get meds

Just do some more water changes, no need to add salt or meds. It usually means your water sucks and that you need to change your WC schedule. What's your schedule?

I just did a 30% water change. I'm going to do another 30% tomorrow. He looked stressed so I turn the lights off and ill see how he is doing tomorrow.

start doing 50% changes. You're trying to flush your tank of all contaminants, 50% changes are alot more efficient.

do 40%-50% waterchange and ur good to go

I did a 60%, but dont worry i got the water from my other tank that has perfect water. We will see how he is doing in the next couple of days.
