Hey y'all! I have a new 75 gallon tank and I'm really excited! I am considering including a gold nugget pleco and a spotted raphael catfish together to rule the sand ;) Will this create any problems? I don't want a dead $25 fishy friend in my tank :(

I think they'll be fine but I would include plenty of hiding spots just in case one of them need to escape.

As long as you have enough caves for both them to have homes there should be no problem. I've had a GN for about 2 years he lives in a a cave an doesn't bother anything else. For Some reason it Use to get into small scuffles with a Chinese algae eater but I got rid of that pretty quick. I've also kept a Raph I hardly ever saw it. It hid all day long. Also never had a problem any other fish.

Pretty pleco! Very nice! I have heard that about a lot of raphaels :( I plan on going up to a tank full of them and going through 10 minutes of a comedy routine and the one that spends the most time in the front of the tank wins a spot in my tank :D

They should be fine together. You will hardly ever see the spotted raphael catfish. Hides most of the day and only comes out at night. Waste of tank space.
