While draining the tank into the toilet the hose fell out from under the seat and spewed salt water all over the floor

RODI waste water line fell out of the drain and onto the floor. Once again water all over

When I use a bulb siphon hose the end of the tube curls up in the bucket. If I don't shove the end all the way down the minute it fills with water the pressure makes it fly out of the bucket, throwing water on the walls and ceiling as it flaps around. :irked:

Testing a dual-pump sump setup, I found my drains couldn't keep up and the tank was starting to flood. In a panic I killed the power, forgetting the second pump return had no bleed hole or anti-siphon device. Consequently the sump started to flood, as the new pump back-siphoned. I didn't realize that, and pulled the main siphon, which was not only not the problem, it sent another quart of water on the floor.

But that was all on the tile floor.

The worst was me refilling a tank with aged water I saved, from a tall bin, sitting on a stool. Siphons faster right? Lifting the water?

Until I bumped into the hose and dumped the bin off the stool and onto the wall-to-wall carpet. I ran the wet vac for an hour and two fans for the next three days.
