I just bought a Hagen Glo T5 HO Linear Fluorescent lighting system and I can't seem to get it to stay on. It turns on and has light come out for a few seconds, and then turns off. What's wrong? Does anyone have previous experiences that could help me?

I tried adjusting the light, it gave me some hope when the light stayed on for about three seconds and then it turned off.

Turns out it was a broken bulb. I got new ones and it turned out to work just fine. I called Hagen and they refunded the money since it was a brand new bulb that was defective.
yeah same thing happened to me when i tried running just one bulb instead of two. stupidest fixture ever, i would never pay for one. good thing i got it free in a raffle
