Everything you listed in this post would be dead within a month excepting the RTC.

Well that answers that then, no red tail cat for me lol. I know they're suppose to be very aggressive but that's all my research has told me, "very aggressive", which isn't saying much.
Thanks

And everything else I believe is compatable, as long as the sizes are all appropriate

With enough room most things are possible. I wouldn't mix that batch. But you've got the pond as back up...

The only one I'm worried about is the aro and gar because they normally don't mix. But it's suppose to work if the aro is bigger than the gar by 4-5" or more and if they both have a calm laid-back personality. The aro I have does, and I'm going to spend a lot of time at the fish store to pick the calmest looking gar I see in hopes of a good match. And yes, if things don't work out then I have the pond to put one into. But fsg are suppose to be pretty peaceful to everything that's too big to eat

The blue gill is in the 1.5 for tonight, he could use some additude adjustment. He'll be moved to the cooler set up tomorrow when I have the time to get to it and everyone will be reunited with better results hopefully in about a month.

For anyone who would like to keep up to date with this, or my 1500 pond project, or my monster black bass experiment then let me know and I'll do my best.

Thanks everybody

Hey Im new to this network, my first day on here and I was trying to start a new thread but I couldnt really figure out how lol,

anyways I figured I'd add to this members question because Im having similar problems with my oscar which is about 8 inches long or so,

it had been fighting in our 100 gallon tank with our red devil which is huge, red devil is out now, he was just too aggressive and he was growing way to fast, but im still worried about the oscar, his scales are also falling off because of being bullied and he has an entire side fin missing, it looks really raw, like you can see right down to his insides,

so besides getting him away from aggressive tank mates and whatnot, what can i do to help his wounds recover?

im sure the member that started this thread might want to know too, for instance are there any adjustments that need to be made to water temp etc?
besides the melafix, are there any other treatments that might help speed up recovery?

im kinda freaked out that he lost a whole fin, is it even possible for him to grow that back or is it gone for good?

alright well id appreciate any feedback too, thanks
