Product Review: LifeGuard

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What about your good Nitrosomona bacteria does it eliminate? or are you discussing it's use in a quarantine tank only?

Any links to actual product descriptions......?

Most internal parasites are hard to treat, the only way I know is to treat with medicated food. My oscar wouldn't eat it, and died of an internal bacterial infection, after I tried numerous treatments and spent over $70 on meds.

I felt a responsibility to treat the fish if I could. Plus the fish was a great tankmate for my bass.

Yeah, I guess it is different when you actually own the fish. Never having owned an oscar, I don't see the need, but from what I hear they are all about the personality.

Not just that I liked the fish, but it was my responsibility to keep it alive.

Has anyone tried lifeguard with plecos? They are scaleless, but they are also armored. Just wanted to find out if it was safe.

Defenitly kills beneficial bacteria. Have been recycling an aquarium after using it.
