I was told to use this product instead of Tetra EasyBalance. I have also used ACE, and Stress Coat. If this product does what it says, it eliminates chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia, and neutralizes nitrite and nitrate. This makes it a far superior water conditioner compared to the above products. Most water conditioners only eliminate chlorine and chloramines, and some also take care of ammonia. This product is also about the same price, but you use much smaller amounts making it cheaper than those other products! I was told about this product on this site, and I am so satisfied I had to share it with you, my fellow fish freak.

Seachem's prime is good stuff. It is also usable with Purigen, with out turning purigen into a chloramine building factory.

really good stuff, and it treats soo much water with so little

Just asking, but what is funny about that? It DOES take much less product to treat your water. If you have ever used ACE, you know what I am talking about.

Yowza, I use it, because I heard it hear first, seems like a top notch product, but it would be hard to say based on me not being part of the aquatic life....

It is pretty tough to know when things are happening on a molecular level, but so far I get at least as good results, and it costs less.
