i used the salt refugiums all by them selves. and im working with a fresh water fuge right now. i have never had one problem with any of there products. i love them and swear by them. the fresh fuge is just a nice planted tank. but im using it as the substraight with a power head( pics coming soon) . i bought the big bottle it was arround 18 bucks 16oz bottle. this stuff is real good. i highly recomend you guys try this stuff. i still have half
