If you look at the length of the heater or thermometer, it does look to be something 48" by 21" high. Probably a 55 or a 75.

Are you cycling without a filter? Doesn't look like theres a filter intake or outtake in that tank.

the filter is HOB, just added sponge filter as well right after the pic is taken, just did the water test everything right on the ball then dump in jumbo neon and some other cheap fish before the boys moved in.
and the tank is BIGGER than 55

Thanks. We are wondering about planting this tank with live plants. How does that go over with monster fish? The bichirs, i believe, are a male female pair...at least it seems so as they very much appear to be mock-courting. Will it impact the arowana, as he is our show-fish.
