Progression on dovii - 2.5" - 9"

thought i'd do a progression thread on my costa rican male dovii. not the nicest i've seen around but he's growing on me. still not that aggressive but he's in a 7' tank by himself so he's getting more outgoing the bigger he gets.

i bought him 25-8-2008 so just under 10 months

He's looking good cuban...nice gold tint and his hump is getting definition. I like progression threads including this one. I don't get to see too many costa variants at monster sizes. Do keep us posted when he gets even bigger!

thanks volcomstone. yeah he definitely has alot of gold on him, which threw me right off when he was younger trying to sex him. everyone keep saying that the females get more golden and i was starting to pull my hair out (whats left of it LOL)

Do his blues come and go, or is it the pics? I ask because mine switches his colors constantly but of late hasn't been displaying the deep blues that he did a few months ago.
