We ordered my tank a couple days ago, it will be here within a week or two.
We have to put it together, he sent us 6 peices of acrylic, so we have quite a project to do lol.
We have to :
1.) cut the top peice so there are 2-3 squares in it.
2.) find where i should drill the holes
3.) put the thing together
4.) build the sump( i have a 20gallon tank full of scrubbies just need a 75gallon to use)

where would u recomend drilling the holes for the tank? i was thinking 2 holes on the back of the tank to the right or left. but wasent sure.

there will be pics and steps for all of this.

Also, how many holes would i have to drill and what size pvc/bulkheads what i have to use to match 2.400gph

Wow you have a job ahead of you, wish i knew all the answers!
If i were you, i would leave the pieces of acrylic in a clean area and plan your project, every detail. I recon that would pay off instead of learning as you go along and making costly mistakes..

Well, I planed to start off by doing this.

Before i put together the tank, I will take the back sheet of acrylic and drill 1-2 holes in it, but i dont know what size bulkhead or pvc, so that will have to wait.
The putting together of the tank wont be a problem. But i'm gona have to cut the top peices out.

the sump will probably be done before the tank is.

Once' i find out how many holes i have to drill, and what size bulkhead,pvc i will be set.

Bump, if i was to drill only 1 hole, what size bulkhead,pvc should i use.

Remember what I mentioned to you before. Please go buy some scrap pieces of acrylic first to practice on. It is not anywere as easy as you would thing to get the solvent to flow. Did this person you are buying the acrylic from route the edges? Do you have a router also? You will need that to even the edges after assembly. Make sure you everlap each joint by 1/8 inch.
