So I have seen in multiple places online that Corydoras catfish
are native to small streams and shallow waters...

So my question is.
As far as tank depth, is a standard 90 gallon(24'') too deep?
I got them when I had other fish in my 90, so they were in a 75
gallon(21'' tall)... I'm not stressing them out by the addition of 3''
to the height, am I? I haven't seen anything about what the
proper depth should be...

Any thoughts?

I have seen them in deeper tanks than that without issue. There is a restaurant near where I live and they have corydora in a over 3 foot deep tank. I kid you not about the depth.
Never measured it, but I know it is at least 36 inches deep. There is airstones in the tank as well, but the corydora swim to the surface still.

I have 2 tanks that are 31" deep. I had a few in 1 of them when it was full of guppies and mollies. I had it setup with a total of 21 feet of various sized PVC pipe burried/hidden at several different places thruout the tank. They did well for a while then all of a sudden they all disapeared within a week or 2 of eachother. I am not sure what happened.

Thanks for the replies!
I've had my oldest ones for probably about a year and they're all doing well. I was just curious about what constitutes 'shallow water'. Would hate to be stressing them out... I love the little boogers! :-)
